Every KU fan that I've seen in print or heard sound bites of says they dont understand why Flory sits on the bench and KJ plays and the lack of effort by the team in way too many games. That's coaching.

In this NIL era and portal does Self's system and coaching style clash with these new high school graduates? The portal candidates? Did we assume we weren't getting the best players due to the NCAA investigation hanging over the program or does Self's style of coaching clash with the young whippersnappers coming out of high school?

Man, I love Bill Self but I am beginning to question if he's cut out for the modern NCAA basketball with NIL.
Not to mention he's getting close to retirement anyway.
I might regret saying this but I would not be opposed to something new.
