Don't see how. $18.4M in space after you take Hitchens deal and the draft pool into account. Jenkins and Sherman are going to combine for close to $4M. Watkins is going to be at least $10M.

I agree. Best they can hope for with this current crew is that you build enough leads to let them just pin their ears back and rush the passer.

Again, I think they have a decent foundation in place with Houston/EB/Fuller/Ragland/Jones/Hitchens, but if they added another stout veteran I would actually like our defense. Nelson, KPass, Amerson and Ford all could be decent too.

Even if every player in that grouping meets/exceeds expectations, we've still got a gaping chasm for a D Line, and our last 2 playoff games are proof enough that we need to address that shit right ****ing now.
