What the hell? Good looking steak, shrimp, scallops. On a paper plate?

Steak has to be on a plate. Nothing worse than cutting a steak through paper plates.

Food looks great though. Never did a surf and turf

It was cut on a cutting board then it was plated. Cutting on paper plates is a big pain in the ass for sure!

lmao I didn't see that it was pre-sliced, why can't I be this smart. I fail at life.

I'm grilling hamburger and hot dogs tonight. Served with applesauce and your choice of doritor nacho cheese or kettle cooked salt and vinegar chips, plus applesauce. I'm drunk, so that's as far up the culinary ladder as I can climb.

What are you all doing this weekend? I've got several projects on tap. Today, I'm making semolina bread. Got the dough rising now.

Also this weekend, I'm starting some beer vinegar. I'm going to let the mother develop naturally so the vinegar is a product of my unique terroir. Making two kinds, one from Shiner Bock and one from Lazy Magnolia's Southern Pecan. Just small batches since this is my first round of vinegar.

Probably tomorrow I'll be making some whole milk mozzarella, so that'll be for pizza Monday. Will probably do a traditional margherita pizza to try to highlight that fresh mozzarella.

And dinner tomorrow will probably be chicken tikka masala.

That's definitely ambitious. I finally got my cold smoke attachment after being backordered for just this side of forever. I got it seasoned and was going to run it, but I've got too much shit going on. Hopefully I can get it going tomorrow.

I did grill up some hotlinks and picked up some super fancy ballpark hotdogs, and godDAMN if they weren't worth the money.

I bailed on the mozzarella this weekend, and putting off the tikka masala till tomorrow. I ended up shooting a bunch of pictures today instead.

Little early to be drunk, what time did you start? I just realized I've only had two beers.

Your bedtime hours are exactly like mine, thats why if I decide to drink on a workday... it starts as early as possible, so I can get to bed with plenty of time to get well.

We're not in our twenties anymore, gotta get that sleep to feel right and get the job done.

Shit fellas, I get to the shop most mornings by 610, lets me get shit done and be left alone. I try to make it to bed by midnight. I sleep in a little on Sunday mornings .
