John Dorsey just gave him $12 million. ROFL

According to Spotrac, after the Hitchens deal we have $18.4M to spend (which includes the draft pool).

Take Watkins' cap number, Sherman's, and Jenkins'... there isn't going to be much left to work with at all.

It was reported in another thread that his cap hit this year is only $3.6M. So some discrepancy going on here.

Spotrac has it down for $3.6M, so that's correct.

So David Irving got tendered as a second rounder, is there any way we could send them the 2019 second rounder we got from Washington?

Irving is only 24, and talented, so he fits the bill.

Sherman and Jenkins are around 2 million each, so 14 million without knowing Watkins

We got a third from Washington this year, a second from the Rams in 2019.

And they're going to want some extra cash left.

Knowing this, we're done I bet.

Dorsey tried stashing him on the practice squad, dumb move on his part. Could’ve had Irving and Jones at DE.

That is legit infuriating. Only jutification Reid could give for keeping Sutton around was he didn't have good enough talent, and so far we've arguably gone backwards in that regard.

There are still some cuts that can be made if Veach wants more cap room. I still don't get Zombo being here. If they go for a guy like Richardson, you can cut Bailey.

Apparently we offered Wilkerson a 1-year deal for $5M, so maybe they are willing to spend that much on this year's cap.
