Why?

The B12 House is crumbling. Can THEY save it? Yes, but they are just delaying the inevitable. 4 mega conferences are going to happen, and the B12 won't be a part of that. Texas knows this. Hell, we all know it. It's a function of whether they want to do it now, or wait a couple of years. I think it's a done deal, and they are just waiting for the ink to dry before they announce.

This whole Super Conference thing is leaving me disenfranchised about college athletics. It's all about TV markets and the big bucks now; history, storied rivalries, and geographic and cultural ties are all part of the past.

It's a goddamned shame.

Well.....suck it up. It will go on wether you like it or not.

So the longer this drags out, the clearer & clearer it seems that the Big10 is waiting on Notre Dame. If they join then expansion continues. If they don't, then the Big10 stops at 12 and revisits the issue when ND's TV contract expires.

Yes, and I would appreciate if you addressed us in the proper manner. It's called the Big Televenwelve now.

If you make a trade for Nebraska+Colorado for say Cincinnati and Utah. Then that isn't too bad. Obviously that is a dream scenario but I'm just praying Texas wants to stay.

I'd be fine with that. Or Boise...

Even though Boise is going to be tougher to deal with year in and year out than Nebraska.

I'm just about ready to say "**** it" and stop rooting for college sports in general until the payers get paid to play because, let's face it, it's all a ****ing money grab and no longer about the schools and tradition and rivalries; the student athlete is dead. Might as well be honest about it once a monopoly of four mega conferences comes to fruition.

Colorado leaves. Big deal. Nebraska leaves. Definitely a bigger deal, but not irreparable.

Add two schools and we all continue to call Texas our daddy.

The world is ending in a year and half anyway. Don't waste that time worrying about things.
