Is this the thread to post up OLD. DIPSHIT. TAKES?

This is what I believe will ultimately separate Joe Burrow from Patrick Mahomes.

Mahomes is otherworldly gifted, but Burrow has the acumen we haven’t seen since Brady and plays the game at that cerebral a level. Burrow isn't cool. He's not smarter than Mahomes. He's very good and better than 99% of NFL QBs. But he's not "more cerebral" in any way, shape, or form.
There IS one thing he's demonstrably better at than Mahomes, however: Breaking apart in midair |
The idea that Mahomes, Burrow, and Allen were all going to win several titles was always ridiculous. That isn’t the NFL.
There’s always a dynasty with an otherworldly successful QB then a bunch of other QBs who win 1-2 titles each. In all likelihood, Mahomes will win like 5 Super Bowls and Burrow/Allen/Jackson/etc will be lucky to win 1 each. One of them might get 2. |

Well, Burrow is a smarter QB just like how Frank Clark sets the edge. |

Burrow has taken shit show of a franchise (before he got here) right to 2 AFCCGs and a SB behind a shit show of offensive lines, immediately after he got here and proceeded to blow up his knee, all the while, staying right at the top statistically with the best in the game. He's proven through testing to process and trigger quicker than anyone and he has + accuracy. No QB in history get to do everything the best. Not even Mahomes. Burrow has done it without the best FO, HC and a Hall of Fame player by his side. |
