I think the part I like most is that KC seems to have targeted the guy they wanted, and made sure it happened (assuming it does happen).

We constantly see this "well, if he didn't want to be here..." type of rhetoric on CP, and it's always been my contention that if you want the guy here, you can make him want to be here.

This is a legit concern. Why were his last two years so bad? Was it poor QB play, which is quite possible. Also, Andy was dealing with some personal issues (he had a son who was having problems with the law and recently died). I'm not impressed with his drafts either. Hopefully if he's hired he'll bring a GM with him like Tom Heckert and defer to a better talent evaluator.

Reid is a proven winner. If he's not burned out and defers personnel decisions to others more qualified then I think it would be a good hire.
