Lions POS used their BS against actual real injustice. Hopefully the NFL will finally be allowed to be fair towards officiating.

Hey it's game 1, we'll be fine. This is also an NFC team which means the least of all games.

This. Defense did their job. 1 TD the fault of special teams allowing a drive to continue. Another the result of the INT. Defense basically gave up 7 points that was all their fault. I’ll take that every week.

Mahomes still did Mahomes things.

These wide receivers are going to be like the CBs last year. Things will look ugly early but they will be much better as the season goes along.

Personally I feel Perine can get you a yard or two on short yardage. I don't trust Clyde to do it and don't feel that Isiah is 100%. Detroits D was hitting and fired up very fast from sideline to sideline.

Throw in Taylor giving the play away and the fact that he’s better at pass protection anyway, just throw the ball every down. Yes, drops, but I’d argue that cuts the other way — gives Mahomes more opportunities to make up for the drops.

The entire offensive gameplan was underwhelming.

Yes I get that Kelce being out and on short notice was significant… but opening the season with the first two offensive plays being runs with MEHHHH?

Seriously?

At least we aren't bitching about the refs or fixed games. This loss is all on our own ineptitude.

Toney looks like he wasn’t present at all of training camp and preseason. We should probably stop force feeding it to him.

See Andy this is why you should take my pages during the game!1

What’s really disturbing is Detroit isn’t a great team. And they played extremely average tonight. And we still lost.

That is a major red flag to me.

I'm half joking but I'm half not, the heat is going to be on Matt Nagy real quick if they have too many performances like this. Just sloppy and didn't feel like they were in control for stretches.

Goff can put it on the money if he doesn't have pressure. When special blitz schemes aren't deployed he had all day for the most part.

Oh bullshit they played the game of their lives.

GloryDayz 09-07-2023 09:53 PM

Lots of work to be done.

srvy 09-07-2023 09:54 PM

They made this game the whole focus of their offseason yet could only beat us by a point. While we were missing two important pieces.

dtrain 09-07-2023 09:54 PM

One thing that bothers me is if a player is having a bad game why keep throwing him out there give someone else a chance and maybe while that guy is on the bench it lights a fire under his but. Also why wouldn't you have played and ran Pacheco more if he's not 100% move up Perine.
