Obviously it's a function of living in KC. The media still covers those clowns and tries to give them equal air time despite having a fraction of the fan base or the success. So naturally we must know what's happening with them since we can't avoid it.

I'm sure the folks in Wichita or Dallas or Topeka don't even know who Mizzou is anymore but then, they don't have to listen about the greatness of Gary "Zero Conference Titles" Pinkel or Frank "Zero NCAA Tourney Wins" Haith.

First 500 MU Students Can Attend NIT Basketball Game for Free

COLUMBIA - The first 500 MU students at Tuesday's NIT basketball game can get in free with an ID.

The Tigers take on Davidson in the first game of the 2014 National Invitation Tournament. This is the first time since 2008 that Mizzou hasn't played in the NCAA tournament.

"It's disappointing for sure, I'd say," said MU Student Matt Hamilton, "It's still exciting that we get some kind of tournament or game but you know, obviously we'd like to see us in the national tournament, the big dance."

Dave Reiter, Associate AD with the MU Athletic Department, said if students have already bought their tickets, they will be refunded on their student accounts. He also encourages students to be at Mizzou Arena at 6 pm for the 8 pm start time, for a better chance of receiving a free ticket.ROFL

Why don't they just replay the 2012 win over KU on the big screen while the game is going on? I'm just thinking outloud ways they could get butts in the seats tonight.

All tickets for students at Georgetown are free. Free at Boston U. $4 at FSU. St John's is $5. Free at Cal.
