I know you thought he was faster than people were giving him credit for, but 4.35? You never once tried to argue he was THAT fast. Again, it's a great time, and it should absolutely give him a boost, but let's not deny reality here. |
Quote:
I was told he was too slow and he can't separate. :D Sorry, he is just a way better a prospect than your little Worthy. |

Unlike you, I don't actively root against other prospects. Mitchell just solidified himself as a 1st round pick, and the more good prospects, the merrier. |
Surprised Mitchell ran that. I thought he was more a mid 4.4 guy based on watching him play.
I saw him saying he doesn’t run his routes max speed so he can run all game. That’s not gonna fly in the NFL. But yeah. He’s likely gone before 32 now. Did Franklin only run 1 40? I didn’t see a second run from him. |
Quote:
No. He was saying he was more concerned with the craft in his routes then just running fast in a straight line. |

Lance Zierlein has him somewhere around there as well. Those 2 guys work for the NFL, and are the most plugged in guys in the business hands down. But I'm sure you know better than they do how the NFL viewed Mitchell before today... |
Quote:
LMAO They are fine. The most plugged in are guys actually working in the NFL. |
Dan Brugler, another guys that's considered "plugged in" had Mitchell at 35 too.
That my friends is a CONSENSUS if I've ever seen one. |
What's up with the McCrappy love? Guy was a great college player but so was Dexter McClustee and Kerry Mier
|
Quote:
https://i.imgur.com/5SFP8uN.jpeg Stay on topic here. You are claiming that he was always a 1st round pick, when all the most plugged in draft guys have him around 35th overall in their most recent rankings. Is it your position that you just know that NFL teams had him higher? What are you basing this on. |

And Jeremiah has Mitchell 6 spots ahead of Worthy. That's it.
|
Quote:
Still didn't want him. Still don't want Franklin or Worthy. |

You are the one claiming that he was always a 1st round pick in NFL circles, which is 100% baseless. I'm just proving that point. |

Daniel Jeremiah’s comp for McConkey is Doug Baldwin when he was coming out of college. His game is nothing like Wes Welker.
|
Yea, it's really hard to knock McConkey when he's out here running sub 4.4 on top of the tape.
|
What about McCaffrey running 4.47 at his size?
He's probably a 4th rounder at worst now. |
Closest recent comp for McConkey as far as testing and times at the combine. Garrett Wilson. Daniel Jeremiah just said it.
Don’t sleep on his athleticism. |

McConkey is going to be a popular pick at 32 in mock drafts now.
|
Quote:
People are getting boners over Mitchell and that’s fine, but McConkey is pretty goddamn fast too. Same 10 yard time. His route running is really good. The kid put on a clinic at the Senior Bowl and embarrassed the DB’s there |
I have added Jalen McMillan to my WR wish list.
Could be a late round pick who starts. Nice routes, timed well enough. Rough impact comp is Marvin Jones. Not wow but always produces more than you expect. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/bhbofkXee4U?si=wFgz7XPInJPpI58g" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" allowfullscreen></iframe> |

Xavier Worthy 4.25 LMAO

Xavier Worthy 4.25.

Worthy may have tested his way into the 4th WR off the board. No joke. 4.22 and a 41" vertical... insane.
Mitchell might have jumped Franklin for the 6th spot. I think McConkey locked in as the 8th. 1. Harrison Jr 2. Nabers 3. Odunze 4. Worthy 5. Thomas Jr 6. Mitchell 7. Franklin 8. McConkey 9. Corley ?? 10. Pearsall ?? |
