27 years old and coming off his best season.
Absolutely no issue with this move, and it wasn’t all that expensive. |

Trying to hit it hard before Allen's deal really spikes and Diggs ages out of his prime. Can't say that I blame them. The rest of the AFC sees where the Chiefs are. As some brokedick fraud would say "There's blood in the water..." But there can only be one team even MAKE it to the SB. So there's gonna be some REAL disappointed teams in the AFC over the next 2-3 years. Because they can't all win this little arms race of theirs. |
Can’t blame Von for taking that lol

I’m completely fine with everybody in the AFC loading up on old expensive pass rushers.
We can just as easily come out on top next year, and have the opportunity to be better off long term. |
But we are bringing Henne and Wylie back
|
So basically we were never in on any of these deals for the top pass rushers.

Does Veach have a plan?
Starting to wonder. Everyone else is getting better while we're getting worse. Next year might finally be the year we get toppled hard unless Veach pulls his head out of his ass soon. |

I know it seems like nothing is happening, but we probably just need to sit tight.
At this time last year, we had no LT, Blythe at Center, and LDT at RG. Things can change a lot. I find it very hard to believe someone as aggressive as Veach is just striking out left and right. |

But if his plan is to collect C/D level FA's like Clay collects Star Wars action figures, the odds of it being successful are slim. I'm convinced he's going to shock us with a move or two - honestly he kind of has to at this point. Is there anyone left out there - specifically at DL - that makes us *better*? Right now, I kinda feel like the only position we can *absolutely* get better at through FA is WR. Hopefully he pulls a rabbit out of his hat in a trade using some 2023 draft capital. |
Outside of the Chiefs winning the championship next year....the next best feeling would be watching the Bills make it to the Super Bowl and losing. As long as it isn't to the Bucs....I'll be happy.

If the Chiefs were that concerned with deals coming off the table right now, I don’t think we’d see them signing Wylie and Henne, which are luxury/finish the roster contracts. They’d be waiting on those. IMO.
I love seeing the Bills overpay, though. |

The Bills HAD to do something to push them over the edge. Allen's cap hit is going to double to over $40 million starting next season.
