JFC I butchered that post all up, lol. I suck at typing when I'm high. Good to see you got the point. But now that you say it, I do remember that they had a TE blocking Reddick 1 on 1 on that play. Definitely inexcusable. |

LMAO look at all the shit QBs that still managed to get their organizations SOMETHING of value. Raiders actually have a halfway decent one comparatively and can't get a ham sandwich. Way to go, McDouche****.

I will now cheer for Derek Carr* *as long as he's in the NFC and not playing my favorite football team of all-time, the Kansas City Chiefs |
Why would he do the Raiders a favor and hurt his destination team? Makes no sense.

Raiders cut him. Good riddance.

Gruden is a much better coach, but was a terrible GM. Left the Raiders cupboard bare. |
Carr basically holds the fate of the NFC South in his hands... whoever signs him becomes the favorite (for now) in that QB dumpster fire division.

Carr is about to get stupid money from a very desperate team

Great job, Raiders.
Gave away a starting QB for nothing in a league where Sam Bradford fetched a first round pick. |

Just mad that they wrote the contract in such a way to allow the result to happen. Grr. |
This Raider shit show warms the cockles of my heart.

I hope Carr finds a good home in the NFC and makes a run for the NFCCG.
I wouldn't be surprised if 49ers would figure a way to get him. unless they are sold on Purdy |
Quote:
Nobody wanted to guarantee his $40 million this year so he was unwilling to accept a deal. Had the Raiders done something to bonus that money out, pay part of it, accelerate it onto their cap and send him elsewhere with say, a $20 million cap hit where he still gets his $40 million, I think he accepts the trade. It came down to money. If he was going to have to restructure his deal somewhere and take less, then he was going to want to test the market. If the Raiders didn't want to take any dead money to get him moved, they weren't going to be able to get it done. |

I'm not convinced Ridder can't be a playoff caliber QB. |
Carolina has a good defense and running game. Nobody else does in that division so that would be my choice.

Bucs will be trash. Old team with a ton of FA's leaving.

Tampa and the saints are a complete mess. Atlanta is a little better, but the Panthers have some nice pieces in place to at least win the division by adding Carr |
Panthers make the most sense for Carr, to me.
Warm weather for the most part, they have some good players on that offense and a proven coach, and if they sign Carr they can use 8 on BPA. QB-friendly coach. Weak-ass division. With Carr, I would be surprised to see Carolina be a top 2 seed in the NFC next year. |

Take any guy who played a long time in the league since whenever the Texans became a franchise (2002?) All of them have at least one team besides their own that they haven't lost to? ALL OF THEM? Rivers... Eli... even Favre was around for a bunch of that. Brees had quite a few bad losing seasons. None of them? ****ing Matt Ryan? Wow. |

Did Ryan play the Falcons since leaving Atlanta? Breaking it down, until recently, a NFC team was only guaranteed to play an AFC team every four years and vice versa. And if they missed the game due to injury, there you go. A reprieve for four years. This situation happens when a QB is good enough to start for nine years for a crappy franchise that hasn't had a league average defense since 2003 and he has only missed like three starts due to injury and I don't think any of those starts were against NFC teams either. Plenty of QBs could lose to all 32 teams in their career but those QBs never get a shot to play enough games. Kind of like how most of the QBs in the top ten for career interceptions are HOF guys. And the ones who aren't like Hadl and Snead had lengthy careers because they were good QBs. But it is an amusing stat and sums up the slop fest that Old Al and Bowlcut has served to the fan base. |
I'm just happy to welcome a new QB to the Raiders and that they will be open to drafting future QB's. The Carr ride is over and it didn't produce much.
Carr is in the review mirror for the Raiders and I wish the best in Orleans. |

Seems there is a new #4 in building.
Top 5 Rookie Grades in Preseason (PFF) OFFENSE: 1) #Colts TE Will Mallory - 90.2 2) #Raiders QB Aidan O’Connell - 89.5 3) #Jaguars WR Elijah Cooks - 88.4 4) #Raiders OL McClendon Curtis - 87.9 5) #Ravens RB Keaton Mitchell - 86.4 |

I think they made a mistake firing gruden

In hindsight he is best as a QB coach and/or offensive coordinator. Way too conservative as a head coach and a poor play caller and game manager. |
Derek Carr just became the first player in history to lose to 31 of the teams in the league. And if the Raiders beat him he will then become the first player to lost to all 32 teams.
Edit there are 9 quarterbacks who have lost to 30 teams. Favre, Kitna, Bledsoe, Alex Smith, Brees, Palmer, Hasselback, Matt Ryan, and Flacco. If Flacco loses to Detroit week 12 he would join Carr in the 31 club. Bucs is the other team for Flacco to hit 32 but they don’t play this year. |

Ya think? Literally the last HC they had that actually had experience as a HC. A SB-winning HC at that. |

How many coaches has Carr got fired?

Carr is a turnover pinata. Smack him around a few times and he'll start coughing up turnovers like candy. I once saw him flop to the ground and turtle up for pressure that wasn't even getting to him. |
He's 74-91 career
and the first QB in NFL history to lose to 31 teams. |

Sucks. Saints should dump him.
