I understand that, and it is a good point- but he Would help in the Playoffs. So that is why you make the trade.

HB says Hughes can play. Caveat here that he’s always had talent but has been injury-prone.

“He’s been growing ever since his first day at OTAs,” Mathieu said of Hughes, who joined the Chiefs in May via a trade from the Minnesota Vikings. “You can see him understanding the scheme, understanding the players that he’s working with.
