With Cleveland, Minnesota, and Detroit all losing.
No ground was lost on this day. |
Tigers lose on a HBP with the bases loaded. Well done.
|
Detroit pulled a Broxton and hit Avisail Garcia to walk the Sux off on a HBP.

Was it 5 or 6 losses ago that I predicted that this "there's nothing to worry about" was indeed something that needed some attention?
Now will come the endless stream from the Royals suck-ups about "they're just trying too hard". Anything but the veterans finally telling the non-players to leave and laying down the law. It'll prolly have to get worse for them to pull-out the players-only trick-fix. |
Sweet. Hopefully taking a loss in the 11th like that will inflict some physiological damage that tacks on a few more losses to their streak.

I'm not even that concerned about the offense, I think they'll snap out of it. I worry our starting pitching isn't going to hold up and it'll hurt our bullpen. I had the same concerns when we were winning. Probably still will even if we run off 5 in a row. Just want to see more consistency out of the rotation. |
Hey al, Sat. GDT ? You doing it, if not I'll grab it.

edit: I'll actually be at the game tomorrow. My record the last 2 years in-person has been very, very good. We won all 3 playoff games I went to, and otherwise I'm over .500 at the K |

39k last nite. Also "girls night out" as I saw several friends posting on the FB page as they were going to the game. 0 runs 3 hits, almost nothing hit out of the infield.
They turned off a lot of their customers last night and many won't be coming back. If these mutts expect sell outs to continue, 2-8 streaks won't cut it |
