Baltimore is a BPA team, I think even though they have a need at CB, when this pick comes up it'll be Gresham or one of the pass rushers.

BossChief 03-10-2010 06:02 PM

Just because you draft Gresham doesnt mean you have to dink and dunk.

A player like him would take a lot of underneath attention and would completely open up the deep stuff to the other receivers.

He will be a matchup nightmare.

Not to mention how much of an impact his attention would allow for the team to be devastating on delayed runs and screens.

Cowboys have a luxury of basically going BPA. No real major holes on the team.

I'm pretty sure Dallas will take whoever the best OL on the board is.

If Jerry will let them, Cowboys I beleive haven't took an OL in the first round since he bought the team.

This draft is falling into place very well to fill the need for quality youth on the OL.

Mecca 03-10-2010 06:06 PM

OL or WR is about all I can see them taking...now if a safety or WR falls into their lap that they really like I could see them going there but the way this mock has gone I'd say OL.

BossChief 03-10-2010 06:29 PM

You think Dallas would consider WR after such a substantial investment in the position recently?

I could see them taking OL or rushbacker, but I doubt they would go receiver.

I think Jerry Hughes would be a slam dunk for them, but thats just my opinion if he falls to their pick.

Mecca 03-10-2010 06:32 PM

Both of their OLB's are first rounders, why would they take another one?

DeezNutz 03-10-2010 06:40 PM

Just looked at Walter's list of needs for KC. LMAO.

Worth a look. http://walterfootball.com/offseason2010kc.php

Spencer has 10 sacks in three years for Wade Phillips defense. Even though his first responsibility is run defense at LOLB, that sack total is dismal and the position deserves an upgrade if the defense is to take the next step.

Jerry Hughes could take the defense to the next level imho.

I could be wrong, but it is more likely that them drafting a wr after investing in Williams and presumably having to make another significant investment in Miles Austin.

Walter loves to pile on the Chiefs. I can't really disagree with him though.

DeezNutz 03-10-2010 06:52 PM

Well, I wish management would make it a little more difficult to do.

I think they are with the things they've all ready done this off-season. They still have a very long ways to go. This off-season is the true test to see if Pioli sinks or swims in KC.
