The ironic thing is that the Big X tried to give themselves a competitive advantage by eliminating their conference championship game. If they would've had a championship game, almost undoubtedly, they'd have gotten a team in.

It's been entertaining to watch them fall all over themselves about having one true co-champion though.

Bullshit. Even with a CCG the committee would have put Ohio St in over TCU or Baylor.

Yeah...the entire system should be reworked to make it easier for a 10 team league with no true champion to back into the mix. That makes more sense than having the Big 12 get its shit together.
