You guys are loving to try and make the conf championship game matter so much. Unfortunately for you it doesn't.

The Big 12 plays 9 conference games. End of story. It's the way college football is supposed to be played.

Conference Championship games are sideshows invented in the 90's.

The ironic thing is that the Big X tried to give themselves a competitive advantage by eliminating their conference championship game. If they would've had a championship game, almost undoubtedly, they'd have gotten a team in.

It's been entertaining to watch them fall all over themselves about having one true co-champion though.
