Solid TE talent in the draft rounds 2-4. If Harris is not in the plans, I expect Orson Charles and Jace Amaro to at least compete for the #3 spot. If Celek comes in for 1 year near vet minimum, that could be ok. Good blocker and knows the system. Not a weapon though...

Don’t need him now, unfortunately.

I think McKinnon to SF

RunKC 03-14-2018 07:47 AM

Eagles are the most talented returning SB team that I can remember.

Yeah, no thanks then... I would have loved him for a couple million per year, but not that.

It’s really hard to say what moves the Chiefs should or should not be making at this point without knowing the cap space.

I really want a DL though more than anything else.

I'd agree with most of this. I'd like to see another quality CB, but you're right, we have to have a backup QB. I'd hate to think we'd go into camp with only Bray behind Mahomes. If we don't get one in FA, we're stuck with getting a late rounder or UDFA. If it comes to that, don't waste a draft choice on a very thin QB pool.

Former Chiefs’ CB Terrance Mitchell intends to sign a 3-year, $12 million deal with the Cleveland Browns, per source.

Yes, I am interested to see the direction. This will be fluid for some time, even into the summer with perhaps some post June 1 cuts. The secondary still needs upgrades and a DL piece is needed. Need a NT.

Guys we may sniff around:
- Melvin, Claiborne
- Poe, Richardson, Pennel (depth)
- Bray likely gets another contract
- Maybe a veteran guard/Center on the cheap to replace Fulton

pugsnotdrugs19 03-14-2018 08:16 AM

Good for Mitchell. Sure wasn’t getting that here.

Would you give up a second round to make this happen?

Cowboys give David Irving the second-round tender

The Cowboys couldn’t afford to lose another key defensive piece, so they spent a little more money.

According to David Moore of the Dallas Morning News, the Cowboys used the second-round tender on restricted free agent defensive tackle David Irving.

That will pay him $2.914 million this year, but he seems worth it. Since he was undrafted, the Cowboys couldn’t risk using the low tender on him, which would have allowed another team to sign him away without compensation.

Despite playing just eight games because of injury and suspension, he recorded seven sacks last season.

The Cowboys are losing linebacker Anthony Hitchens to the Chiefs, but used the franchise tag to retain defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence.

How the **** did Mitchell get that money? Wow

Good for him. He wasn’t going to get that here.
