I didn't know a single Royals fan in Springfield growing up. Either you were a Cardinal fan or you just didn't like baseball. The reason was that the Royals were just starting in KC.

Your a fan of the team you grew up with. Thats it. Through thick and thin. No matter how much they suck, you can't honorably switch teams. There is only one fan loophole, if your team moves to a different city, you can switch teams.
