Well TCU went from 4-8 to 11-1. It's pretty common for young teams to play better with experience the next year. Especially if they don't have an outrageous number of injurys.

Hell if we had a little better luck a few games we could have been in better shape. Or a B1G schedule. Iowa is going to a bowl game and they have 0 wins against teams with winning records. We have two wins against teams with winning records.

But it's far more common for 3-9 teams to turn into 2-10 teams.
