Beautiful. I feel like Pack would be a perfect fit with Peterson who is going to be having the ball in his alot.

It would be nice to have some experience in the lineup too

BREAKING: Flory Bidunga Returning to KU
The Jayhawks might've just had their biggest win of the portal season.

Flory Bidunga is removing his name from the transfer portal and will return to play for Kansas. It's a surprising move after he entered the portal one week earlier with Auburn and Indiana as two potential suitors.

It's a huge momentum shift for the Jayhawks, who no longer have a major question mark at the center position. They’ve instead answered that question with the best possible solution.

Bidunga showed flashes of elite potential during his freshman campaign. KU's offense ranked No. 7 nationally during a four-game stretch when Bidunga started in Big 12 play — compared to finishing the year at No. 48.

The rotation becomes much clearer with Darryn Peterson as KU's primary guard and Bidunga anchoring the team down low. If the Jayhawks can add another scoring wing or two, they are very much in business.

Bidunga is now primed to become the next Bill Self big man to develop into elite players with multiple years in the program.

Updated Scholarship Breakdown
The Jayhawks have ~6 scholarship spots remaining.

Guards

Darryn Peterson

Elmarko Jackson

Noah Shelby

Jamari McDowell

Wings:

Jayden Dawson (Loyola Chicago transfer)

Tre White (Illinois transfer)

Samis Calderon

Bigs

Flory Bidunga

Bryson Tiller

I think I read that he needs to get a medical redshirt but he only played in like 7 games this past year so likely

I feel like we're talking about MJ in the royals thread like we've been talking about KJ in these threads. Can my team's please quit with guys with two letter names where the second letter is J, please?

Braden Smith is my guy if he wants more money, but Pack is still a good option.

Big time scorer and shooter with experience. Really nice fit next to Peterson.

Gotta give Bidunga spacing. Especially if White starts at the 3.

Hasn't Pack played 5 years in college already

Yep. One was COVID year (20-21), and this past season he only played a handful of games. So the assumption is that he's regaining this past season's eligibility with an additional medical redshirt year.

Strange that KSU is on his list. I mean, why did he leave there in the first place?

Would be hilarious if KU got him. Boy, that would piss off the Kitties.

Vernon reporting that Dickinson gave up over $100K last year so KU could get Storr.

That didn't work out for various reasons outside of his control, but the guy is a Jayhawk for life in my books.

So he's also the reason Storr came?

Now I even hate him more.

HD also said KU's NIL is probably between 15-20th in the country.
