I'm stupid and don't know how to post quotes...but here is a tweet from Kirk Bohls with the Austin American Statesman.

Xavier Worthy's lawyers say he asked the complainant "multiple times" to vacate the residence and said she "destroyed a room, scratched Worthy's face and ripped out" some of his hair. They add there is photographic evidence supporting Worthy.

So, a similar charge was brought against former Texas Longhorns basketball coach, Chris Beard.

It's important to know that this specific charge doesn't necessarily mean he was choking the woman out. It means that somehow his hands came in contact with her head or neck area. He could've been shoving her out the door and his hands came in contact with her neck and this escalator will be added to the charge.

It's like roughing the QB. If your forearm hits the head or neck area, it's roughing the passer. If you come in contact with the head or neck, this escalator will be added to the charge.

It doesn't look good, but the wording of the charge is much more severe than what might have catually happened.

Chiefs get all the calls.

Most homes are covered in cameras anymore.

Should be easy enough to prove what happened.

There are pieces of that that are pretty easy to show/prove. I doubt they’d make that strong of a statement unless they can show/prove the requests she leave and her attempts to extort him.

It would be nice if this girl was dumb enough to text him something about ruining his career.

You dont put your hands on a woman...ever...EVER! With that said, what kind of whore cheats on a guy and then runs to the police when the guy freaks the F out? Just garbage!

If that is true, the lady should be arrested for trespassing and assault.

Worthy was arrested for strangulation. Can you be arrested for that simply from a claim or does there have to be explicit evidence of him doing that?

Bc if there’s no evidence this will be a case of “he said/she said”

In a sane world, you'd think there'd have to be physical evidence of said strangulation event.

However....

Hmmm.

Nope. Apparently you can’t trust the lawyer. Only the cheating girlfriend. At least that’s what some here say.

KC_Connection 03-08-2025 12:20 PM

I’d like to draft a WR who doesn’t commit felonies in their first offseason one of these years

Maybe this coming draft is the one
