Freaky timing on how on their most recent Kelce podcast they were talking about having Gumby knees.

Time for Noah to step up. Let's see what he has got.

Yes, he is his dentist.

I think Chao was the Chargers' team doctor which either makes him the most experienced doctor in the world in dealing with sports injuries, or the worst doctor in the world at preventing them

Both can be true

Mahomes would have carried this team to wins anyway, but it's a relief to know it's not a long-term thing. Having Kelce around come playoff time makes things a hell of a lot easier.

The positive angle is that Mahomes will be forced to develop some chemistry with other players. Travis won't be there forever. Long term I want to see Mahomes keep developing as a QB. This could be a good thing for him in the long run, even if it sucks in the short term.

If Mahomes/Reid are able to gain some new chemistry & trust with other receivers while Travis is out, Kelce becomes a really nice luxury to add to this team later in the season. Similar to how Toney was injured last year, but made a couple of massively important plays in the Super Bowl.

With Julie Frymyer, the Chiefs have the best trainer in the NFL. Look at how fast she got Mahomes ankle healed up to play.

Monticore 09-05-2023 03:20 PM

Depending on severity he could play with a brace

Kiimo 09-05-2023 03:22 PM

Me, staring at the MRI having never seen one before

Hmmmmm

uh huh, uh huh

*touches both pointer fingers to upper lip*

That's oddly fuzzy language, but I guess I'll take it.

I say rest him. If KC loses to Detroit it won't be due to a lack of scoring points.
