Heh, congrats on the uh, C+ game being good enough at prime time Arrowhead.

Can we borrow Hutchinson for a bit? We'll give him back in the same or better condition.

And Amon-Ra St Brown! Please!

A jump from dead last to 12-15 would be massive. I wouldn't bank on it if I were you, but hey, you do you. Maybe your Lions will get there by end of season, but game one... ouch. This is the worst possible draw for anyone.

Guess you were right about not banking in top 12-15. Should have went straight to top ten 😎

C'mon Re, save this shit for February.

Wouldn't it be great to face those scrappy Lions in the SB again?

I think we'd curbstomp them.

Bearcat 10-16-2023 04:16 PM

Don't act like you've never been 5-1 before with one quality win of the bunch, just to watch it come crashing down when games really matter.

....wait, have the Lions ever been 5-1?

Seriously though, I'd really hope they're on track for at least a home playoff game given the rest of the schedule... Bears twice, Broncos, Packers again, Raiders.

Guess we'll see in a few short months if after that, they're closer to the Vikings of last year or to be taken seriously.

If, heaven forbid, KC doesn't win the SB, the only thing better than the Lions winning the SB, would have been the Lions winning the SB and Rams losing SB LVI.

If Detroit manages to make it to the SB over the Eagles and Niners, hoooooboy... I'd salivate like Pavlovs dog for that rematch

So go get' em, Detroit!

When your biggest win in like 75 years occurs in week 1 you've had a tough run.

Don't neglect our sole playoff win since '57. At Dallas in '92.

Yeah, its that shitty. So, take us for granted...again.

Why though? I'm not dogging the Chiefs. Just proud of my Lions. Only team in the NFL without a regulation loss.

I will concede that we probably would have lost week one if Taylor's boyfriend had played. But he didn't, and they didn't.

You can tell they’ve never been here before. Their fans online are still beating their chests over a week 1 win. When we’re hoisting another Lombardi, they’ll at least have that week 1 win they can look at.

Andy Reid never takes anyone for granted, you guys outplayed a team still trying to gel and congrats for that... but what we're going to be in the playoffs is miles from the team you beat week 1

Campbells gritty attitude is starting pay off, and wear off, on that team and you should be applauded for it... but ya'll better slow your roll trying to talk smack on the Champs, lets revisit this conversation when Detroit makes the playoffs

they actually started 5-0 in 2011, i was shocked it happened that recently (and for reference that Lions team went 10-6 :))

Crazy how we're now the team that other fan bases come to for gloating in September/October after all the decades we did it whenever the Chiefs would knock off a favorite.

We were so naive and I see a little of us in all of them. LMAO

TB (4-12)
KC (7-9, but lost their first two games like 90-10)
Minn (3-13)
Dallas (8-8)
Chicago (8-8)
...then immediately lost to two playoff teams.
