I was flying from Atlanta to Dallas and that ****er was the problem. Now going through Charlotte with just 50 minutes to catch next flight from E gates to B gates

My Neice in Maricopa told us to use the Mesa Gateway Airport. What's the scoop on that?

Sky Harbor is probably a lot closer to where he lives than Mesa Gateway but I was looking to avoid the jam-packed Zoo. I do see a flight on Allegiant from where I live that's nonstop to Mesa Gateway. That sounds perfect. Flying out of Springfield/Branson is a breeze so using similar sized Airports is what I'm looking for. 3 hour flight! That's just about right to drink couple three Bloody Marys. Bloody Marys are always best when your tens of thousands of feet in the air going several hundred miles per hour.

The only downside might be that it's ~30 miles east of downtown/Sky Harbor, depending on where you're going in Phoenix, but yeah that Springfield to Mesa direct flight is simple and the Mesa airport is just as easy to get in/out than Springfield.

IMO, Sky Harbor isn't bad compared to other big cities (depending on time of day, traffic is the biggest pain in the ass), but if you want a Springfield airport experience, then Mesa is a great option.

I will be down south in Maricopa. Sky Harbor looks to be 10 minutes or so closer. Probably a push on time but avoiding a crowd is probably worth it.
