Not all “Pro Bowl QB’s” are created equal…

Man. It would be glorious if they still sucked and somehow lock flips the switch this year.

Imagine the donks with back to back 3 win seasons and the Seahawks winning the division. Pile high would have a meltdown.

Lock should play better in Seattle if they can keep their WR group.

Noah Fant was a first round draft pick so that's like giving up 3 first round picks. Denver is going have to find a a tight end and wait till 3rd round or FA. Wilson is good but he needs a team like any other Quarterback. Tight Ends have evolved as an extention can argue more important than a running back.

No, i am not making that up to be funny.

I hate the broncos with the intensity of a thousand suns, but that might be too much horror to inflict even upon them.

That was my thought as well. This move threatens the Raiders. That’s about it.

Means little if Russel keeps putting his O-line in bad positions by holding the ball too long and getting sacked constantly because of it.

Believe this is what Denver has remaining in the 2022 Draft:
2nd round: 64th overall
3rd round: 73rd and 96th overall
4th round: 111th and 112th overall
5th round: 150th overall
6th round: 194th overall
7th round: 246th overall

Sutton, Patrick, Hamler and Jeudy - solid WR group that just needs a strong QB and now they have one. I like this group, esp with Hamler returning and I think Wilson will love having these 4 guys as options.

Losing Fant could sting, but they can replace him and they have a gaggle of guys there now... but, they need to add via FA and the draft.

Who knows what happens with Gordon, but Williams is the lead horse.

They could keep those remaining 5 picks in the 2-3 rounds or slide up if someone is there earlier in R2. They still have options.

Agreed.

And I'm not sure Jeudy moves the needle for me at all if I'm Seattle.

I just don't know how you come out of that deal with a 30 yr old Shelby Harris as a key piece and not Surtain. Even if it costs you one of the 2nds you got in the package.

Rodgers was off the table - you had them over a barrel here.

Like I said, I think Seattle pulled the chute a little early here. Or they LOVE Fant. And hey, maybe that's fair. If they put a 1st round value on Fant or something, I could see it.

But Fant isn't Hock. He's really a pure pass-catching TE and hasn't been all that amazing of one at that. And he has only 2 years left under team control.

It's not an incredible return.

It's not an incredible return for either side, it's weird.

Denver gave up A LOT in terms of their own value, especially Shelby Harris, who is not nearly as valuable to a new team.

The outsider fans assume this makes it much harder for KC to win 1st seed but is that really the case?

Russell is still good but he's not bringing DK and Lockett with him.

While Denver is stronger it also means Herbert gets 2 games against them as well.

KC plays better in must win games. All in all I hope this just makes Veach go get some guys we need.

I thought all that talk of the Seahawks not protecting him last offseason was odd, especially when you saw film of Wilson holding the ball for 38 minutes

I don't think losing Nathan Font is going to matter.
