I was a big Foles proponent back when Andy first came him. Seemed like a no brainer.
Then Andy expressing no interest, followed by his tenure at StL gave me pause as to whether he was a budding Kurt Warner or a budding Scott Mitchell.
Glad to know Andy and he were sympatico enough to regroup here.
Mainly, I'm just glad the team has enough success under its belt to make its QB decisions with zero consideration for fan angst. At this point, it's like appointing a homeless Vietnam vet who karate chops signposts in his off time to run the DoD.
The Jags are very dangerous this week because they are too talented for the performance they laid out last week. If they have any respect for their coach at all remaining, I wouldn't be surprised if their effort wasn't similar to what the Bills put out for Rex Ryan against the Pats the first time around. It still won't be near enough, and Bortles isn't going to correct his shit mechanics in a week, but there will be a stout defensive effort.
Seeing a low-scoring game, and a few tense defensive stands against an impotent Jags O to preserve a late lead, and the QB-centric lunatics will come out in force with their conspiracy theories that Andy sabotaged Foles to preserve Alex's honor.
