She wanted orange juice so I took her some, then she rang out and said "I can't get this orange juice open" I told her she could open it there was nothing wrong with her hands to keep her from opening it." She said "I thought you were a nice nurse" i said I try to be.
I lose it with these kind of people and only people in the medical field could possible understand what its like. The ones who have never worked in a medical field probably think this is terrible way to be. :banghead:
When you have a middle aged person who wets the bed although they don't do it at home and act like they can't walk to the bathroom to me is just being lazy when there is no diagnosis that says they cannot walk.
Ok I am blowing off some steam and it could go on forever:cuss:

It is a terrible way to be. It's not their fault your job is difficult and demanding. Sorry you have to put down the laptop and CP to care for your patients.
My father almost died because of this kind of attitude. He had a lot of problems and needed a lot of attention when he was in the hospital (frequently).
He had a heart attack, turned blue and passed out while buzzing the nurses. The nurses were so put out from having to tend to him constantly, they didn't respond immediately. If it weren't for the other patient's family that shared his room seeing him turn blue, he would've died right there.
As far as I'm concerned you shouldn't be in this field of work or you need an immediate attitude adjustment. Perhaps you should quit screwing around on the internet when you have people that need your help.
