Nah, wainwright is hurt, and bumgarner is hot right now. They've got our number

Pasta Little Brioni 10-15-2014 10:26 PM

Just roll over with the bats on the shoulder like they did against Casilla

Pitches were an inch outside of the strike zone, bro.

I'd never bet against the Cardinals - period. They've got a warrior mentality - it is always there, circulating through whichever team they field in a given year.

Guys - keep you faith - no fat lady singing. Right?

Yeah, we have a history of comebacks. We have done it this this year in the NLDS and the NLCS. We have done it on the road against Kershaw. Kershaw is way better than Bumgardner. But, it is a tough hill to climb. Seems to me that we play better with our backs to the wall. Welllll our backs are to the wall now.:)

Still can't believe Adams threw to 2nd. Talk about a mental lapse.

kcpasco 10-15-2014 10:32 PM

Errors cost us this series.

Meh. With Crawford stutter stepping down the line to home, a good throw gets the Cards out of the inning with only 1 run.

Pasta Little Brioni 10-15-2014 10:34 PM

Kershaw obviously shits his pants in the postseason....Bumgarner not so much

If he wanted the DP he should have went to 2nd first. That was an epic choke.

Why would you go to 2nd first when you are 1 step from 1st? That makes no sense. He made the right choice, his throw just sucked balls.

Before the pitch is thrown, think in your head......If the ball is hit to me. What do I do with the ball? I taught that skill to my little leaguers.

Um because it's a force play at 2nd.

And?

You are talking about taking a 1 step and throw double play into 2 throws. That's dumb. His decision was sound, his execution was shit.

The throw doesn't have to be perfect if it's a force. 1st baseman do this all the time.
