Is there no Pioli b/c he actually isn't Clark's top target? No one knows what the **** is going on, including the people reporting that Hunt wants Pioli to be the next GM.

Perhaps there is no news because the Ravens (or Steelers) are still playing football.

I don't think there's any news because Clark, and his guys have done an outstanding job of keeping things under wraps. We didn't even know he had conducted the over half dozen interviews that have already taken place.

But the small info that has surfaced all point towards Pioli being the top candidate.

Him doing it out of Dallas is the best thing, I know its driving people nuts which is a good thing bc it means football people know that he keeps stuff confidental and that translates into top people and players wanting to play and work for him.

Most likely, you're all in for a huge letdown if your attitude is "Pioli and nothing else will do".

It's a conspiracy to boost 810's ratings in the wake of college basketball. Everybody and their mother was listening to 810 yesterday, the feed percentage was down to 15.

This all could be true. But most of this "information" is really speculation that Pioli is the top guy.

The only thing we really know is that the dude has interviewed. Well, maybe Pioli isn't as impressive in an interview situation. Not saying this is the case, but it's not out of the realm of possibilities.

Well that would draw another parallel to Hugh Douglass, as he sucked major ass after going to JVille (if memory serves).

He is my top guy, but am not in the Pioli, or nothing camp as long as Herm gets the boot.

It's better to have loved and lost than to never have loved before. I never loved CP. I want to love Scott Pioli (in a totally non-gay way, I swear), even if we lose with him....

And that's the thing. Without the Hoodie, it's possible. I doubt it, but it's possible.

Everyone has locked onto Pioli b/c it's the name most of us recognize. Doesn't mean he's the best selection, or that Clark is as enamored with him as we believe him to be.

That would give you some insight into my day to day life.
