Amazing how little the conf championship games matter. Go look at espn.com right now. It's all:

NCAA Coaching Searches
Winston
Duke / Wisconsin Basketball
CFB Playoff talk

Shoot, they don't even mention Alabama-Mizzou when you click on the College Football page. What an afterthought.

So why does it actually matter. You to ****ing poor to have more than one TV in your man cave?

Why can't we have on both basketball and football games on multiple TVs?

I would have 2 TV's on if I cared. College basketball in December is pointless.

Well then you just hang that viewership banner for baddassery.

Some of us enjoy college sports.

Except nobody is doing that. Saul brought up a point and you countered it with a false statement.

Most of the country's interest in college basketball is near zero before conference play starts, rises to a crescendo of "meh" during conference play, and peaks for two weeks in March or until their office pool brackets are busted, whichever event passes first.

Yet they just talked about last night games and nubs coach search on sports radio in OKC.

Again you are lying that its not being reported on. Have some self respect and stop lying.

Kansas would be the hardest of them all. Gonna take a hugs name to change the losing culture and probably 6-10 years to accomplish it.

This is always the part of the year when Nubbs, Mizzouches et al start talking about how much they hate college basketball and how little it matters and how it's boring etc. So the thread will become bare since they'll leave.

Saul will get "dissed" by another mod and bail the second the bowls are over. Hog will say the sport sucks until Nubbs are good, whereby he will brag about them as he did last year. Most of the rest will scatter to the wind. And I can't quite put my finger on the real reason why. It's a mystery!

Pitt Gorilla 12-04-2014 12:24 PM

To be fair, I remember a couple of national shows laughing about the ku-Kentucky game the game after it happened. On one, they described Kentucky as the top program, some other schools in a second tier, and then kansas in a third group.

It's most likely due to basketball not being nearly as interesting/entertaining as football. I don't think anyone argues that point.

It's not the mystery you're making it out to be. As a matter of fact, you've basically answered your own "mystery."

let's see if I can walk you through this...

Hmmmm. Let's see. Unnamed posters associated with schools you hate (but can't stop talking about) dislike a sport, by your own admission.

And said unnamed posters stop posting as much when the primary sport is over.

Such a mystery. I wonder if we could figure out why that happens.

Meanwhile, we'll have to also figure out why the Sons of Anarchy thread is so barren when that show is off the air. It's gonna take an investigation of Remington Steele proportions!!!!
