The furthest south I've been is northern Texas. I've never been out of the States. It's freezing here...literally. A low of 19 tonight.

Yuck... That's cold.... I've been to 40 of the 50 states including Hawaii.... Been to Mexico 3 times.... Canada about 10 times.... Jamaca(sp) 2 times....

I'd really love to go to Austraila....

Dude, what's the deal, you in ACA and in the 'net?

I dig, homesick?

I love Mexico. We go to Zihuatanejo every few years. It rules.

Congrats on the vacation.

And Australia definitely rocks. Barrier reef, Sydney, etc. I've been lucky enough to have spent three weeks there on the company dime TWICE.

Everytime here, I never really needed a motel room... Probably only spent 3 hours a day in it anyway...

I'd really like to. Something I would have to talk them into. Used to arrange weekend trips to KC and such all the time when we were younger. Now, we're doing good to see one another at all once a year or so.

We use to jump off of 20-30 foot cliffs down by Rolla.... I don't do that or even swim anymore since a friend of mine drowned about 4 years ago.... I'm terrified of water anymore... Especially big ass lakes... Anytime I'm in a boat --- I wear a life vest....

I'm terrified of heights, so I doubt I ever jump off of anything. I do love to swim though. I'm sorry to hear about your friend. One of mine has never learned to swim, and this scares me.

I grew up around water. My family's always spent weekends and vacations at Lake of the Ozarks. It always struck me as odd when a friend or girlfriend was afraid of the water.

I had one gf who was almost hysterical when she first got on the boat. Took a while, but she got used to it... and enjoyed it. Never could convince her to swim from the boat though. Only from the shore.

We just took the tour bus to the site.... I'm at The Hyatt down here... Only bad thing is watching out for the volkswagons when crossing the street... You'd swear they are practicing for the Indy 500 down here...

Been here 3 times and I'm NEVER going to rent the scooters and go for a cruise down here...

I was out running an errand, of course. When I got home at 9:45 and my wife told me I immediately went down and knocked on the door loudly and with great authority. The mother finally answered the door.

I informed her that kind of thing would NOT be going on in our neighborhood because we have at least 8 small children on this street alone. I also let her know that the next time things even looked like the MIGHT be getting out of control the first response was going to be call to the police and that I would come out to handle the situation myself while we waited. I further informed her that if, at any point, I felt threatened by the situation I would be pressing charges.

I think she got the picture.

Also, if I happen to catch little Paco outside he and I are also going to discuss manners and civilized behavior.
