Cordarrelle Patterson will be back in Atlanta next season. The versatile running back/wideout is re-signing with the Falcons, reports NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo (via Twitter). It’s a two-year, $10.5MM deal, according to ESPN’s Michael Rothstein (via Twitter).

That had to have a few teams involved to get that price that high.

I wouldn’t go that high, but he will end up earning every penny.

Antonio Brown is reportedly going to Cleveland to catch passes from the molester.

I think PFF estimated he would get 2 years $12 M. Spotrac had the estimate even higher.

He fits with Atlanta's offense and they know how to use him.

I thought he might be an interesting weapon for Andy Reid plus he could return kickoffs.

This will end well, I’m sure.

Kiimo 03-19-2022 01:38 PM

Taking Ojabo in the first would be stupid BEFORE he tore his achilles.

Now you're talking about taking him in the first with a torn achilles even though the only skill he has is his first step.

don't hold your breath fellas

Antonio Brown wanting to play for the Browns does not mean he’s “reportedly going to Cleveland”.

Where did you hear that?

An Achilles tear on a dude like Ojabo is potentially sending him to Day 2 at a minimum. He’s a freak athlete but the risk if it doesn’t heal is essentially that you have a guy who is only first step with a worse first step.

Alternatively, maybe you get lucky and get a swing at Boye Mafe

Yea, he was only a top 15 prospect because of his “first step”!

I can tell you’ve never actually watched the guy play, because he wins in multiple ways.

Also, I was talking specifically about your take that it would’ve been stupid taking him in the 1st before his injury.

I have no problem with people that disagree and think it’s too risky now, but that take was just awful.

Titty Meat 03-19-2022 01:50 PM

Bashes Ojabo then calls for Mafe lmao

Kiimo 03-19-2022 01:51 PM

He's a project. whatever man. If you love him good on you. He's a complete project and now he's a day two player.

Yea, exactly.

I’d love to hear what Mafe is if Ojabo is a “complete project”.

Dude had 11 sacks this year, and improved a a run defender throughout the year. He’s got a real knack for causing fumbles. He has excellent inside/outside spin move, and he can win in multiple ways.

Saying he would’ve been a “stupid” pick at 30 before the injury is probably the worst draft take I’ve seen this year.
