Oklahoma soundly defeating the West's best program last year in the Sugar Bowl definitely put the brakes on that for me however. Oklahoma is perhaps the 3rd best team in the Big 12 and would cruise by most teams in the SEC. They "could" beat them all.

Alabama finished second in their division last year. How could they be the best team?

Because Auburn won on some stupid fluke when Alabama wasn't even playing. Alabama was obviously the class of the SEC last year.

And Oklahoma showed them who's boss when it comes to College Football.

So, let me get this strait:

If Mizzou wins, the SEC could get shut out of the playoffs, increase the chance the B12 gets two teams in the playoffs, thereby increasing the end of the year money pay out to the B12 and decreasing it for the SEC?

Whereas if Mizzou loses, the SEC not only has one in the playoff field, they have the top seed.

Making friends down south there fast, I bet. :D
