It's a fairly simple comparison. BCS bowls generate advertising revenue, tv ratings, and much more prestige than any of the other bowls.

Final Fours are similar in scope. The ratings and dollars associated with the FF prove this without a doubt.

The SEC Champ is more of a sideshow than anything else. Alabama lost on a fluke play to Auburn which would have given them one loss just like Missouri. Alabama would have been in the game.
