In fact, EVERYTHING has changed by trading up and drafting our first QBOTF in over 30 years. AND us trading away a QB and ****ing another team on value instead of the opposite. I can't imagine why this isn't obvious to every fan here. THIS IS NOT THE CHIEFS OF THE 90'S!:cuss: |
Quote:
But I get it; you're so used to complete shit, that Smith gets a wet kiss and an ice cream cone from your dumb ass for providing so very little to a team that had to carry his pathetic ass more often than not. "MY HERO"! says The Tard Guy. Get ****ed. |

ROFL Idiot. |
Alex is gone. I’m enjoying the Pat Mahomes era now. Who gives a rat’s ass about Smith anymore. He accomplished what he was supposed to be and that is a bridge QB until Andy found his QBoTF. Some highs and lows but that trade worked out well even though I wasn’t a fan of his. Frustrating times because he wasn’t aggressive all the time like he should have been. But now we have an exciting young QB prospect. I’ll be over here enjoying it :)

It's Sweets. that should explain it

You littered this board for 2 years with Geno Smith gush fests. Your man flap quivered at the mere mention of him. You couldn't evaluate players to save your ****ing life. You're a mouth breathing ****bag who offers zero to this board. Zero. Nothing. Probably what you offer your family members in real life. |

I do love Mahomes though. The only reason you love Mahomes is because someone probably told you too. You're not smart enough to understand talent. |

And who the **** are YOU to point any ****ing fingers, ass monkey? "PIOLI"!- The Tard Guy, 2009. ROFL  Oh, BRA-VO, sir genius! Assuming Geno or any other prospect "sucked", you might have to go through the AWFUL scenario of ditching them before their rookie contract expired! THE HORROR! Or, you could play it safe like a pussy and sign another Frisco cast-off in the name of "veteran leadership". But hey guy, I'm REALLY GLAD that your last 5 years of Sundays allowed you to hold your head high amongst the cruel world, and proclaim your love of mediocre, playoff-losing CHIEFS FOOTBALL(!) for the whole gaggle of poor idiots that have to work with you Monday-Friday! Go pedal you pathetic gratitude to the drool-catchers at "NEPA Chiefs", or some other such loser fan sight, please. |
Five piss-wasted years spent on a loser QB by a franchise that can't make its ****ing mind up about who the GM is going to be, what direction the team is going to take, but let's be sure and put a PROVEN BURNOUT in charge of the whole ****ing show!
You'd better hope that Mahomes is 100 times the player that Reid is a coach, or you're going to be ingesting A LOT of ****ing Alka-Seltzer in the coming years, 'Tard Guy'. Idiot. |

But hey, thanks for stopping by to let everyone know what a back-walking, shit for brains "Nostradamus" you are! When do you start your new gig at the National Enquirer?!?!? |

Hmm. Bay Area reporter. |
Someone called someone a “queer.” Made me lol and think back to life in 1996.

Kyle Orton and Geno Smith are so much better than Alex Smith that they've been unemployed. Genius.

Think that he sucks all you want but they have shown as a team they are behind Alex and won’t be ending that deal anytime soon.
What do they like? 1. Doesn’t turn the ball over. Yes he had an INT today but wasn’t his fault, ball shoulda been caught and not bobbled in the air 2. Controls the offense. He’s always been a game manager and they know that what they gotta do to win with him. It’s a success so far for them this year. Formula is simple. Run the ball effectively (they didn’t do that today), play good against the opposing RB (didn’t do that today either), and limit turnovers. There is a historic over 80% chance a team wins in this league when they win the turnover battle (they tied today). Unless Alex starts turning it over a lot they gotta ride with who led them to 5-3. If you done with Alex Smith it’s gonna be a very long year for you. 5-3 is better then every team in the league except for the Rams, the Saints, the Patriots, the Chargers, and the Panthers records. I'm not sure it's Tiger. Did Tiger always have a ton of grammatical errors, such as using then instead of than?
|
He did it multiple times in that thread, plus a couple of other repeated errors. I don't remember Tiger doing that.

I thought Jacksonville could have been a contender if they had dumped Bortles and signed Smith. Or if you had a crappy team that wanted a steady hand during a rebuild. But a playoff contender dumping Cousins for Smith. No. |

I like Alex Smith a lot, and as he showed here, you can win a lot of games with that guy. Hell, I think the Skins will win the NFC East this year mostly because of him. What we know all too well is that he can only do so much. Can he take a team to the Super Bowl? I think so, but it would have to be a magical year - no injuries, great supporting cast, favorable and timely breaks.
I still think he should have went to the Browns. They would have loved him there. |
Hell, the NY Giants would be a great fit for him. And in the limited time I have watched him he does seem to still be pushing the ball down the field.
|
They just lost both starting guards and Paul Richardson to season ending injuries. Just keeps getting worse for Alex lol
|
This was kind of funny in their trade smith for carr thread
OP I was joking, but I was reading an article about how Jon likes and wants older quarterbacks. Alex fits that description. Jay seems to thrive with younger guys like Carr. They’re brothers and could work it out. punch it in That article had nothing to do with football...... |

1) the Ravens' defense 2a) Marshawn Lynch / Pierre Thomas (assuming an average or worse offensive line) or; 2b) Brian Westbrook / Ahmad Bradshaw (assuming an average or better offensive line) 3) choice of Dallas Clark or Chris Cooley (probably depending on which set of RBs you're starting) 4) DeSean Jackson, Anthony Gonzalez and Malcolm Floyd as your top three receivers. |

He was the right guy for us when he was brought in. We were nowhere close to being a contender. He was a steady the ship guy. In the meantime, we got a number of weapons for an elite offense. Then it was the right time to move on from Alex. And we now are enjoying an elite offense with an elite QB |
I read the first 10 posts in that thread and started having flashback panic attacks.
|
Skins will lose the division to Philly.
The only way they could win a playoff game is if Philly has a full meltdown and the Skins host Chicago in a rainstorm getting into a FG battle. |

Alex has 9 TD passes this year.
Mahomes has 29. Mahomes is 6 TD passes ahead of Luck who has 23- After that, it is Goff at 20. The amount of TD passes Alex has thrown is almost the difference (minus Luck) in what Mahomes leads all other QB's in the NFL. Let that sink in. |

Mmmm...gif # "headsmash" is SO ****ing tasty...

Alex Smith has made so much money getting dragged around by his defense and running game... it’s almost brilliant.
Someone with video editing skills should create a loop from Forrest Gump... of Forrest dragging his squad out of the jungle. Swap Alex’s face onto each squad member and update the uniform to match his teams. Change the face of Forrest to whichever person was most responsible for his success (Harbaugh, Tyreek or Kelce, AD) |

That almost matches what Alex did in 3 seasons with the Chiefs 2014,15,16 he threw 53 in those 3 combined. In fairness he did only play 15 games in 2 of those years but yeah it wouldn't have been much more |
Quote:
Alex Smith has not thrown a TD pass in the 2nd half. Not only am I certain that Mahomes has thrown more 2nd half touchdowns than Alex has total, but I think he might have more 2nd half passing TD's than the redskins offense has scored in totality. Granted, KC has played 1 more game than Washington... but still. |

Falcons and Ryan do not play well on the road and they are beat up bad as well, yet, they beat the Redskins in their house who were rolling along with AP against a crappy Atl defense. Go figure.

vs LAC: 3 vs PIT: 3 vs DEN: 1 vs NE: 4 vs CIN: 1 vs DEN: 2 vs CLE: 1 15 total 2nd half TDs. LOL Smith... |
Mahomes with more 2nd half TDs than Alex has TDs for the entire season LMAO
