Anyong Bluth 01-15-2017 08:53 PM

Pittsburgh's D is fast sideline to sideline. Andy needs to grow some nuts and attack vertically.

These guys all look too nervous . Shrug it off and come out, relax, and have some fun.

1st drive score needs to happen.

We'll find out what Alex is really made of . . . . .

Agree. Typically its gets worse for the D in this situation the later into the game it gets. They just get worn down.

O has to stop the bleeding by doing its damn job. Fortunately its a tight game on the scoreboard.

They aren't. Alex didn't make a throw to Hill and missed Ware. Reid gets blown by leading to a pick. Offense looks like absolute shit.

If the team that had seven points in this game was the Broncos, how safe would you feel about the lead?

Some teams just ride unsustainable runs of fortune. Good Red Zone defense is not negatively correlated with defense between the 20s. As you no doubt saw from the graphic, no team has ever given up more yardage while giving up under 20 PPG.

This team is like the 2006 Bears, '94 Chargers, 2001 Patriots, and several others that I'm likely forgetting. All average teams, but they had enough good fortune that they could survive over a small sample size.

Pittsburgh had the ball for 20 of 30 possible minutes because our offense can't stay on the field, and the defense held them to 12 points. That's a Herculean effort, IMO.

I have no idea why either of those 2 plays even came in the stratosphere of gameplanning

JH was clearly trying to fool the Steelers on the blitz by taking our best pass rusher and putting him into coverage against Pitt's best receiver (a stupid idea for a scheme that < 10 people on planet Earth would think is a good idea)

Jah Reid just got beat and beat bad. That's one guy against another and the Steeler's player winning.

We looked great when we used Hill as a decoy and a target and were misdirecting every play. When we started going into a conventional look we became the same simple offense that lost to Houston, Tampa, and Tennessee...

Time of possession killing us. Will be tired in 4th quarter and collapse. Only an early 3rd quarter pick by Peters can turn the tide I think. I think we're beat.

The defense is on pace to allow 550 yards. That's why they never got off the field. There is not a planet in this solar system where that's a good performance. You go ahead and show me the list of championship defenses that allowed over 500 yards a game.

They play conservative on both sides of the ball...That's the mentality of our head coach.

You know why other teams are champions and the Chiefs aren't?

Because the Chiefs usually play to not lose while champs play to win like they want to ****ing defeat someone and not hold on for dear life. I hate the conservative concepts that this franchise breeds onto the fanbase. That mentality never wins. Ever!
