Yes, you are, as you've speaking in absolutes since Reid was hired and traded for Smith.

Hell, you did it in this thread.

If you're so convinced the Chiefs are going no where, why are you bothering to watch the games or post?

I can't believe you thought the Chiefs would lose.

You and other a-holes were giving me shit on the dislike of the Russell pick earlier this year and even if the Chiefs were 100% healthy the way they were playing on offense we were most likely gonna lose that game.

Sandy Vagina 11-06-2016 06:57 PM

Sad that people can't place weekly victories above their butthurt over the QB1 and boring offense.

**** that.. I'll smile till they give me good reason not to. :)

Last word from me, because it's not worth arguing over - but apparently you can't tell the difference by you changing the outcome of an event that has already happened, and me stating an opinion.

It's my opinion. Time might prove me wrong.

You, however are trying to change the outcome of an event that has already happened. You can't be proven wrong, because they event can't be replayed under your special circumstances - yet you spew them as fact.

Have a great night.

Dane, Patriots had a way more injuries then we did last year. They were never fully healthy yet they trucked us.

Add up the salaries of Houston, Maclin, and Charles...That's about $36 million of player value that didn't play for us. And that's not even including Ware.

That game has a different makeup with Maclin in it. Kelce was doubled all game long...Smith was handcuffed to throwing to Avant, Wilson, and Conley the rookie.

MahiMike 11-06-2016 07:06 PM

Never knew how effective the option plays helped the run. Today we found out. Can't believe the Jags outrushed the Chiefs. Crazy.

BigCatDaddy 11-20-2016 03:11 PM

Make it Foles, number 1.

Discuss Thrower 11-20-2016 04:06 PM

If the chiefs perform like I think they will in losing on the road in the next two weeks and possibly losing to the lowly Titans and come into the Christmas game at 7-6...

If they lose that one to fall to 7-7, why not see if Bray is worth a shit with the starting offense?

Foles isn't the answer and Smith isn't game managing with any sort of dependability. What do they *really* have to lose at that point?

Easy 6 11-20-2016 04:14 PM

I'd be fine going to Foles at this point, the lack of scoring is horrendous and keeping turnovers to a minimum doesnt offset that... who is gonna care if Foles throws 2 picks when he also has 3 touchdowns?

This Foles at least has the indy game under his belt better then Alex played all year

Anybody who disagrees.............**** YOU!!!!

rabblerouser 11-20-2016 04:36 PM

I'm officially on the "Time to start Foles" bandwagon.

The knock on Alex was the lack of big plays. The upside was always "he doesn't make the big mistake." "He doesn't lose the game for us."

Well...he looked like shit last week and the D bailed him out. He played like shit today and the defense wasn't able to bail the offense out.

Well...Foles has a bigger upside than Alex. Time to start him NOW. Draft QBOTF in April. Team has peaked with Smith.

Eleazar 11-20-2016 04:36 PM

Foles is not better than Smith.

At this point however, Smith's being good at not turning the ball over isn't helping us much

If Foles produced two TDs and three 3 interceptions we'd be better off than we are today.

But, if you bench Smith then that is basically throwing the towel in. Acknowledging that the team can't right the ship with him at QB even given the current fast start to the season.

Reid isn't going to do that. He fully believes in himself and in Alex.

I think Reid would ride Smith into retirement before benching him

Smith isn't doing the only thing he's required to do: not turn the ball over. He's begun to lose the only positive element of his game. The only element that put him above Foles. Now that it's gone, Foles has the advantage.

If Alex can't pull himself together this week. Start Foles.

How many chances does this turd get? No QB in the NFL is asked to do less than Alex Smith.

People wrote Foles off after one game. A game where he didn't play great, but played better than Alex.

LMAO he couldn't do shit with Foles until he copy-pasted Chip Kellys offense for him to run. He played so bad the last 2 games of the regular season. They legit had people calling for Sudfeld to start because Foles played so badly running the offense. Good for Pederson to switch to the correct offense for his QB, though.

These plays had nothing to do with the play that was called.

Why would I want to condemn Nick Foles. He played ****ing beautifully against the Vikings and the Patriots. Just laughable to watch people banging the table and screaming about letting him go. Outside of a stretch in 2013 he has been mediocre at best, and somehow Doug Pederson got him to revert back to that form when it mattered most.

Foles got a game and a half in KC and won both games. He also didn’t look good in Philly the first few games either. It takes time this mesh with players.

Alex held this team back and we will see that next year. He can’t make plays when things aren’t perfect. Shit tends to break down in big games. We now have a QB with pocket presence who can made lemonade out of horse piss.

B_Ambuehl 02-05-2018 11:42 AM

Foles needs good protection. He's got an accurate cannon arm but he's not mobile. The combo of Philly's Oline and Petersons aggressiveness on early downs allowed him to thrive. Keep him out of 3rd and long and he can ball. Put him in an R2P2 Jeff Fisher type offense and the result is just as predictably bad. He needs to go somewhere with an aggressive offensive staff or it won't work.

Any QB needs good protection.

However, there were multiple instances the last few games where Foles didnt have any protection, managed to move around while avoiding the pass rush, kept his eyes downfield and completed a drive/game changing play.

I know this is tough for a Chiefs fan to identify since it almost never happened within the last 5 years, but it is one of the big reasons why the Eagles won games the last few weeks. Foles was money and played like a franchise QB.
