We are stuck with him if you look at the contract. 34 million dead cap next year doesn't work. Next chance is after next year where its 9 million dead cap. He's a starter next year. |
They look drained. Like the 5 straight years of doing what they’ve done has just worn on them.
Whatever. Get to the playoffs and see what happens |
Folks will hate me saying this but LT is a glaring problem and Donovan Smith isn't the answer here. He's older and getting hurt. I like Wanya Morris but he looked absolutely horrific yesterday. Not sure I want my faith in him.
They need to look at a LT in the first rd, which there are some quality ones in stock this year at first glance. They can get WR's in FA to make an instant impact. You can't find a quality LT there. It's early but I'd go after some proven vet receivers, get your LTOTF and then draft another weapon in rd 2. |

Or let wayna take his lumps and develop.

don't want to give up on wanya too soon - fisher struggled as a rookie

Wouldn't be surprised this off season if the Chiefs move Taylor to LT and have him work there and put Morris back at RT. I bet they'll definitely play around with that in training camp and/or preseason.

Perhaps a tad bit too early!!!

Good time to bump this. Lot of the same energy as this thread lingering around this week

Well shit, they haven't fixed any of that this season outside of the drops.... gonna be another 40 point loss I'm afraid (did the 49ers go for two after their 7th touchdown? 50 seems odd)
