The two parts to the word “helicopter” are not “heli” and “copter”, but “helico” meaning spiral, and “pter” meaning one with wings, like pterodactyl.

This applies to all award shows. Really dumb. You can give out the awards through a press release. No need to have a 3-4 hour "show" about it.

This is true but, we are talking about awards for performances.

“Hey, look at my performance in this.”

“Hey, look at this performance of me accepting an award for my performance.”

It is certainly self-indulgent and I have no love for it but, with out those kinds of people we don’t have entertainment.

Be interesting to see what the NTSB determines on this one. I watched some overhead photos over the debris field and it looked like a mini Lockerby. The early reports say fire aboard and witnesses said it sputtered the was a loud whoosh. I wonder if is exploded in midair. If it few into a hillside I don't know if it would cause that that lage a debris.

I just saw that. MSNBC once again showing their true colors. If they weren't part of the legacy media, they would be deplatformed and everyone fired.

and here's the clip for anyone that doesn't want to watch the commercial first on that link:

NSFW language, racial slurs involved

Oh for crying out loud. People want so bad to be outraged about something. It's an obvious slip of tongue and her explanation makes perfect sense.
