Yes, as I've been stating, this class has been hyped for months now. Before Mahomes was even a twinkle in SNR's eye.

There's going to be a lot of salivating in 2018.

I prefer Trubisky and Kizer, actually, but I'm not really married to any of them.

Hell, if Andy and Dorsey were really really into Davis Webb, I'd be down, even though I don't like him that much

Exactly. Nobody is saying the 2018 QB class isn't clearly better....at the very top.

Which of course is total garbage. You're just justifying your desperation.

And you don't want to be wrong again. You're all for passing this year in the hopes that we'll have a shot next year. Except there is no evidence that we will next year.

RunKC 04-14-2017 01:45 PM

Mason Rudolph plays in a spread offense designed to score in the conference with by far the worst defenses and he can't even throw 30 TD's in either of his 2 years in college LMAO

That's some Alex Smith level feat

Terrible, terrible analysis.

Both those guys would be the #1 QB this year.

I hate agreeing with Laz but he's right.

Rudolph would be the #1 QB in 2017?

Okaaaaay

Quite right.

Some of you apparently lust for it, though.

Maybe, just maybe, he has enough faith in Dorsey to trust him with whatever QB he decides on.

Quite right? Then you should probably stop posting opinions on players.

This guy is scared to "pick a QB" and it's not even his job. Pretty ironic/hypocritical with all the shit he gives the organization for that.

Yes, because the QB's this year aren't considered as good, one might fall to us. But is that really a good thing? If a QB isn't good enough it doesn't really matter what happens, he still isn't good enough.

Nobody knows for sure though about any player so we'll see.

I still think we need to work at getting ourselves into position to get a higher pick next year. Make a plan, work a plan. It's not like having a higher pick next year would be a bad thing EVEN IF the QB we want isn't there.

Hell, if you really want to do anything for a great QB then go all in.

Trade Alex Smith to a sucky team for a draft pick next year.

Trade down in this draft as many times as you can for draft picks next year.

Start Tyler Bray so that we lose all year

Next year we have a high draft pick of our own + several draft picks from other teams ala trades. Next year in what is predicted to be a good, if not great, QB class we have all sorts of ammo to get whomever we want.

of course that means we suck this year, so the Chiefs won't do it.

RunKC 04-14-2017 01:53 PM

Lamar Jackson completed 54.7% of his passes in 2015 and 56.2% last year. That's horrific. Not to mention that he has a frail 200 lb body like Bridgewater.

He got a ton of pub for throwing 6 TD's...on the Charlotte 49ers LMAO

You're damn right I'm scared to pick a QB in a year where there are no QBs.

Stupid thing to say. The mere fact I'm willing to sell the farm for a QB in 2018 indicates I have NO fear in a year with actual legitimate 1st round players at the position. I'm willing to gamble BIG. That takes BALLS.

2 studs at the top that we won't have any shot at and the rest are the same as usual, if not worse.

Buncha bullshit

Do yourself a favour:

Go watch Mahomes 2015 tape.

Then, watch 3-4 game tapes from 2016. MASSIVE IMPROVEMENT. The young man still needs a lot of refinement though.

The experience the kids will get in 2017 leading up to the 2018 draft will be invaluable. The 2018 class will be deeper overall because they will have garnered more overall experience as starters. You cannot say that about Trubisky, Kizer or Webb.

The point is the Chiefs will get a qb this year or next. What will detrrmine that is who they see as a fit and the prohibitive costs associated with that.

If we miss out on Trubisky or Kizer, the next guys on my wish list are Barnett and Watt.

I don't know what you're trying to go for with this "desperation" narrative, but it's bizarre and kind of stupid. Not one person is advocating QB no matter ****ing what
