I'm considering not even helping him this time and making him go all summer without a car.

I still can't figure how he did thousands of dollars worth of damage just by hitting a curb. His story sounds fishy at best.

Really hoping thats NOT what happened. Considering he was with me when our fan got plowed by a guy messing with his damn phone.

Sounds like a bus pass or other public transportation for a while will whip him into not wanting to **** up again.

That could have been your old car man.

I was in a car that hit a curb at around 25 MPH, totalled out the car. Hit it just right. Not saying, that it happened that way, but it can happen.

That really doesn't take much. A bent lower control arm by itself can do that.

Guarantee a knee assembly could be bought for less than 300 bucks

I'm not seeing how that equates to a 2300 repair job.

Buehler445 05-16-2015 07:34 AM

Definitely talk to Jason's auto before you drop any cash on that bitch.

Bugeater 05-16-2015 08:01 AM

Okay, now I'm seeing at least a couple grand. Hell that wheel is probably $300 on its own. Everything else on that side is probably ****ed up too.

Pull a used wheel out of a junk yard for about 1/10 of that?
The other stuff I have no clue about.

Not shit!

Glad I sold it to some 20 year old girl who probably drives very cautiously and like a grandma.

I think this sounds like texting and hitting a curb too. Only way you would hit something that hard would be not paying attention and slamming into it.
