The Tigers win in the 12th. Boo.

Demonpenz 08-04-2013 02:46 PM

Anyone been critical on Denny Matthews call today? He was being a tool in the 9th.

ChiefsCountry 08-04-2013 02:47 PM

So how do we need the Detroit/Cleveland series to turn out for us?

Nightfyre 08-04-2013 02:47 PM

We need to crush the Twins to make up some ground

Well, Detroit losing would help us with division hopes and Cleveland losing would help us with wildcard hopes. Personally I may just hope for a split and us sweeping a four game series.

Pretty much. Although Detroit is certainly the more potent of the two teams. Any losses that can get piled on top is good for us

We want Cleveland to win at least 4 games.

We need to win during that same time frame, then keep winning.

Later we go to & meet Detroit, we must win that series to not lose ground, even though I want a sweep, that would be a tall order.

I don't know. I think the WC is the more realistic goal right now so I'd rather have the Tigers win the series to knock Cleveland down a few spots in the WC race.

I look at it this way...with them playing each other, if we win something good will happen. At this point, I'm thinking Wild Card #2.

ROYC75 08-04-2013 02:54 PM

Tigers are on the road for the next 10 games, Cleveland, Yankees and the White Sox.

Cleveland plays more games on the road than we do or the Tigers, I'll take my chances with them on the head to head.

Tigers just beat up on Wash.,Pilly & the Sox @ home. We kept pace on the road.

Time to turn the tables.
