He took the TYPE of player I wanted even then.

Honestly I think I was about perfectly dialed into the chiefs outlook on the players in this draft.

I just wouldn't have taken that risk in the 1st.

Seems like the Chiefs elected to draft high ceiling, high potential athletes in several places in this draft. Cant blame them, if they produce, its a big win! Filled several places of need for this team, possibly. Im ready for training camp to start, to see what we've got!

Agree 100%.No sure there’s room on our roster.

But I suppose JuJu and Brown are gone after this season so he could find playing time then.

2026: Rice, Worthy, Bond, Royals…I guess I’m talking myself into it lol

I could see Brown possibly sticking around if he can log more snaps this year and has the right price in mind. Juju might be in a wheelchair by 2026, yes.

Nobody ever brings him up but love Luke Grimm from KU as possible UDFA

If I'm bringing in a receiver with an eye on the practice squad it's Restrepo or Wease.

Several good KU UDFAs… OT Logan Brown, CB Kobe Bryant, CB Melo Dotson… I want all these guys!

See I think everyone they grabbed can point to at least being a niche contributor. I don't think there's actually a ton of risk in any of their picks apart from Simmons and maybe Royals.

I would love to see Wease get a shot....

Wouldn't mind seeing Nate Noel be invited as a UDFA

BryanBusby 04-26-2025 05:01 PM

Would like to see some OL and DB depth from the UDFA pool and maybe a little more DL.

Mosbonian 04-26-2025 05:03 PM

Lachey just got picked...

Bumping again as the draft is just about over!

I think every single pick could make an impact this year, Bassa and Smith likely on ST’s. It’s gonna look a lot like 2022 IMO.

It feels so good having smart people run this franchise

Anyong Bluth 04-26-2025 05:05 PM

I'd love to sign Cobee Bryant, please.

Thank you.

KU has a legit handful of guys that are really good still available

smithandrew051 04-26-2025 05:07 PM

Call Logan Brown immediately.

But that pick aside, there's not a single ****ing thing to bitch about the whole rest of the way. There's something here for everyone. Veach was like ****in' Oprah, and we all got what we wanted underneath our ****ing chair before the show was over.

Given the outcome of the draft and the other picks, that only lends credit to them having thoroughly done their homework unless people think they spent the least amount of time scouting their 1st round selection and it appears he was their plan for quite some time?
