If he can be back in 6 months….then he won’t fall to our 2nd round pick. A team who isn’t in win now will take him at the top of the 2nd. Hell the Broncos could afford to take him.

I just don't think it's wise or really in line with where the Chiefs are to take a guy in round 2 you know you're getting absolutely nothing from this year (best-case, he can practice in December, I guess) in a really deep draft.

Especially when that guy was ALREADY raw and in need of development.

I was thinking 3rd round

Probably true. I bet he doesn’t last until our second round pick. Jeffrey Simmons fell because of an injury and still went late in the first

If I’m the Lions…..I’d take him at 32.

Agreed. We should remember that J Wiliams also hurt himself and that we are hoping he would fall to #30, but seems more likely now that he goes top 20.

I’d gladly sign Ingram and take Okoboji at 30.

Give Joe Cullen some firepower to work with.

In that situation, he could be fully healthy and ready to contribute by mid season and until then, Ingram Clark and company can hold it down.

We won’t have many chances to get a guy like Okoboki or Williams unless we take some injury risk or other concern.

I think that pick is going to the Browns for Baker.

No way is Mayfield worth a 1st.

I’m not sure the Lions are interested. He’s not their type of player. Plus I’ve heard that it’s basically the Colts and Seahawks.

Kiimo 03-19-2022 10:01 AM

Baker should be hoping it's the Seahawks. Their offense fits his style.

Sailing the ball over receivers and then running it on 2nd 3rd and 4th

I’m right there with you man.

I understand the risk of taking Ojabo at 30, but I just don’t give a ****.

This team has an opportunity to draft a top 15 player at their biggest position of need.

Anybody we would take at 30 isn’t likely to contribute early on in year 1 anyways.
