I think most of it is reacting to the ZOMG WE DON'T WANT TO SEE [insert team here]!!!!!

We're Chief fans man, we don't take anything for granted. And Mahomes broke all the curses.

So we're much more lax here.

Chiefs have been beaten in every conceivable way, but the bottom line is we're 14-1 and have the best player in the league. Down deep I doubt anyone is legitimately cocky, but it's certainly a different feel here than years past.

Other than the ZOMG crowd of course.

That was great. Just great. Better than I could've hoped for.

And the nice bonus is that CLE doesn't have a hope of beating us. They have a great running game, but Spags will take that away and make them have to pass, which is just not their strength.

And then their defense is Myles Garrett and maybe Denzel Ward if he comes back, and that's really about it. They lost their best LB earlier this year, and he wasn't even as good as the guy they traded, Schobert. And their CBs and not good at all.

If Ben can throw for 500 yds on CLE, and he's a shadow of himself, Pat could go for half a mile.

Not that he will, I'm sure that we'll have the game pretty well wrapped by mid-way thru the 3rd, and then it'll be coast to the AFCCG.

Great by Cleveland. Should be interesting to see how they play y’all next week when they have a coach and a few of their players off Covid next week.

The Titans OC is still going to get a HC job, and nobody knows why. Good for Lamar and the Ravens getting a win. Nice to get that weight off the ole shoulders.

The Saints are lucky they played the Bears today and didn’t have a bye. Brees, Kamara, and Thomas have only played together for 6 qtrs this year, and it showed. Next week vs the Bucs will be a great game.

Overall, great opening week for the NFL playoffs.

I’m happy for the Browns fans. I and we all know about waiting 20+ years for a playoff win. We had a fan kinship.

But many of those points were off 4 interceptions and a bad snap. Mahomes ain’t throwing 4 interceptions. They should get smoked. Bad. But, back in 2016 I was happy with a season that produced a single playoff win. They should be too.
