I think that was a small minority who did that.

The Bills take the AFC this seasom

Bills fans love to complain about Mahomes always having it easy with wide open players all game and on the TDs in the Super Bowl. Meanwhile on 2nd and 9 against the Chiefs Allen had two wide open players to choose from and missed both of them. Hits either one and their chances of winning go way up.

It’s true he missed those guys on that play. Also fumbled earlier in the drive and was very fortunate the Chiefs didn’t recover it. Got away with a potential Pick 6 on that drive too. He was unlucky Diggs dropped the 70 yard bomb on that drive. All of that being said…even if he hits the touchdown to Shakir, Buffalo would have left way too much time on the clock for Mahomes to respond.

Don’t forget Hardman’s fumble on the goal line as well. He scores and everything else is moot.

Yeah, classic fan shades on that one.

Yes, the "what ifs" of Diggs dropping the deep ball (which would have put them basically where the ball stalled out, except much faster, which - is that really what you want in that situation?) and Allen getting pressured JUST enough to miss the throw to Shakir in the end zone were impactful, but there were just as many "Whoa, the Bills are lucky they didn't turn it over" plays on that drive as there were "Whoa, the Bills were unlucky!" plays.

Shitkur also made 2 miracle grabs on Sneed leading to 2 TDs they shouldn't have scored

And like Tredadda mentioned, that Buffalo drive would have been pointless if Mecole Hardman did not fumble on the goal line. Chiefs should have been up by 10 points instead of 3 points.

Allen fumbled the game away and Conner refused to let him...

I like this guy better than Perna for the Broncos. At least he is realistic v Perna

Josh Allen has longer TD runs than Mahomes has thrown for TDs this year. Allen is better -Billsfanworld

SaintsWire 2/23/24

The experts at Over The Cap track every transaction and contract tweak around the NFL, and they estimate the Saints to now be in the red by just $53.7 million — a big jump after New Orleans started the offseason with about $83 million in expenditures keeping them over the salary cap. Two conversations with Carr and McCoy wiped out nearly $30 million in 48 hours.

Sure, they still have a lot to figure out with $53.7 million in negative cap space. But that isn’t the worst number in the league anymore. The Buffalo Bills are now in last-place with an estimated $55.1 million, per OTC. And the Saints are going to be busy working towards cap compliance.

Perna is one of a kind man. He cracks me up. Super clever dude.

Two Bills Drive is trying really hard to convince themselves that Allen is better than Mahomes and that he'd have had more success than Mahomes in KC. Apparently Mahomes has had everything you could want and Allen's been held back by bums. Interesting angle, considering that Buffalo's rosters have consistently been ranked top 5ish, and Reid stole one of his most prized plays from the allegedly uncreative Bills staff. Not to mention that Allen was really inaccurate his first two years, by which point Mahomes had already had a 50 TD season and a SB MVP.

People are funny. Whenever the masses are out to crown the next team with as little evidence as possible, I'm the one pumping the brakes and saying can we just wait to see if player x is better than player y or if team A is the next dynasty etc.

Time will tell and we'll all be thoroughly convinced by 5+ years of evidence as all the variables wash out and the truth us undeniable... right?

Nah, we just entrench ourselves in our rightness or wrongness and keep doubling down until the end of time. The only thing left is making up situations that aren't ever provable, like what if Allen was drafted by the Chiefs and Mahomes by the Bills... yep, you've convinced me. LMAO
