I'm not necessarily against it either, just comical that people were adamant about signing young guys and have only flip-flopped because everyone else is active and we're not.

We're at the point we need bodies, just take our medicine and move on.

Hate it, but it is what it is.

But the market was full of old guys. Most of the big moves are guys 29+.

How is that contradictory?

Veach has never handed out long term contracts to players over 25-26.

Veach would probably take a flyer on a guy like Dunlap.
