Trent Brown is garbage.

I'm not necessarily against it either, just comical that people were adamant about signing young guys and have only flip-flopped because everyone else is active and we're not.

We're at the point we need bodies, just take our medicine and move on.

Hate it, but it is what it is.

But the market was full of old guys. Most of the big moves are guys 29+.

How is that contradictory?

Not really, no. Don't keep tabs on former Gators once they enter the NFL.

When does Mahomes bonus hit? I thought I read somewhere that it was 3 PM but I don't remember what time zone that 3 PM was.

Thought his comment was odd as well. A 1year flyer on a vet was always in the cards.

The dude can't pass block. Wylie has at least shown that he can do that.

Red Dawg 03-18-2022 02:04 PM

Brown is crap for what we will have to give him.

It really is amazing how desperation has changed some of your minds.

24-36 hours ago players between 28-30 were too old and don't fit the mold of what Veach brings in.

Dunlap is *checks notes* 33 years old.

"That guy doesn't fit Veach's profile! He's 28!"

"You know, this 33 yr old is exactly what Veach looks for"

LMAO

LMAO

There’s a complete difference in a long term deal and a 1 year deal.

You understand that, right?

tyreekthefreak 03-18-2022 02:14 PM

Is making Tyreek the highest paid WR really worth it?

So Allen Robinson, a 28 year old, on a 3 year deal is a worse bet than Carlos Dunlap, a 33 year old on a 1 year deal?

Ok.

The Franchise 03-18-2022 02:15 PM

Veach has never handed out long term contracts to players over 25-26.

Veach would probably take a flyer on a guy like Dunlap.

Yep...totally the same shit.

Ok.

Where did he compare Allen Robinson and Carlos Dunlap? Want to point that part of his post?
