They need to cut rounds 5-7 down to 3 minutes per pick, 2-4 to 5 minutes and Round 1 should be 7 tops. This shit drags on way too long.

Mertz is horrific.

Not NFL material, bad pick.

They want to drag it and get those advertising dollars. They know experts like us will tough it out.

Ready to go means ready to practice. We’ve seen guys who are “ready to go” like Thuney last year not get cleared for contact until the pre season. You’re hearing what you want to hear.

You are apparently hearing what you want to hear to fit your own narrative.

If a player is a full go to start training camp, there is every expectation that he’ll be ready by game one of the regular season.

Did they say ready or did they say full go?

I think anytime someone mentions elway in a positive manner, I immediately conclude that they're too dumb to warrant any positive reaction.

Why do the guest announcers for every team all wear #24? Does the league give them those jerseys?

“He’ll definitely be ready for training camp, yeah,” Reid added. “But he’ll be able to do some stuff up until then, before that.”
If you want to interpret that to mean that he won’t be ready by week one of the regular season… go for it.

Seems they are already talking about dropping Round 1 down to 7 minutes. Should drop it all the way around though.

If they're going to do this shit, they need to at least have the hot german girls announce all of the picks.

MOAR FINE FRAULEINS!

Rain Man 04-26-2025 03:42 PM

It makes me laugh to see all of the guys in the draft room hugging each other after making a pick. It seems so silly.

And maybe remove one item of clothing per round to keep interest high on Day 3.

What do you mean? The old lady with skin that looks like an old leather couch doesn't get you all hot and bothered?
