Yep. They'd probably start changing rules.

The Big 12 plays 9 conference games. End of story. It's the way college football is supposed to be played.

Conference Championship games are sideshows invented in the 90's.

You sound like a National League fan deriding the DH. Bad look, man.

The National League has won 4 of the last 5 World Series'.

Maybe not the best example man.

So you're saying that the DH in the AL is the reason the NL won?

Why don't you ask the guy who brought up the DH?

I didn't get the example either.

Not once did you ever say that conferences should play 9 games until the Big 12 got raided and was left with no choice. Give it a rest.

lol, the Big 12 is the best combined football and basketball conference with all teams contributing.

Raided? More like trimmed the fat.

Too bad Kentucky blew the game at Louisville. The SEC would have had 13 bowl teams. 12 isn't bad, I guess. It's double what the Big 12 has, after all.

Pretty easy when you only play 8 conference games and schedule an extra cupcake. Everyone gets 1 more win.

SEC teams scheduled extra cupcakes?

The teams that won exactly 6 games in the SEC:

Arkansas: Crushed Texas Tech

Florida: Would have won 7, but their cupcake game got canceled so they only played 11 games...also played Florida State OOC

South Carolina: Played Clemson OOC

Tennessee: Played Oklahoma OOC

Turns out, you're an idiot who doesn't have a clue what he's talking about.

Any time someone starts making points about "The way things are supposed to be played" in reference to a new evolution in a sport, they sound like a fuddy duddy stuck in the past (funny that you weren't stuck in this version of the past until 2012, but whatever).

Anyone who doesn't understand the value of conference championship games to their league either: 1) Is purposely blinding himself to it; 2) Doesn't really understand college football.

Hell, Florida somehow gave FSU all they could handle. Mizzou curb stomped the Gators in their place.

Yup. **** conference championship games! And the three-point shot! And the DH! And the forward pass! etc.

Seriously? You are too dumb to understand how this works?

Pac12 and Big12 teams play 9 conference games, SEC teams play 8. So every team ends up with 1 fewer loss on average. Its just math.
